We have houses we can live in, with a roof and a door we can lock. To keep unwanted visitors out.
We have the choice to get education, or to go work. To pay for food that we can buy in stores and prepare without putting in too much effort.
Food! We have plenty of it, we don’t have to worry about getting sick when we drink water.
We don’t have to leave our country because it’s dangerous.

We are safe.

Then why does it make a difference which color my skin is? Or which country my parents are from? Why can I live in every country I want, while some of my friends aren’t even allowed to stay in an empty school or any other abandoned building?
